Hey DadI was about five when I asked my dad if he would take the training wheels of my bike. I was ecstatic when he complied. “You have you learn,” he said, “Because I’m not putting the wheels back on.” We practiced for hours. He would hold on to the handlebars and when he deemed ready, he would let go. My bike would race forward for a second or two, but I would suddenly collide with the ground when gravity over took me and my horrible balancing skills. I wasn’t a whiner and my dad didn’t give up.
